well enjoy it. i probably would've gone up to about 1700 but a week-long vacation in the mountains with no computer access and no cell phone reception prevented me from doing so. i'm just happy my lil' cuz was able to do a little of my dirty work last week. he said you guys stuck him with urlacher (bears fan)...he said he was trying to drive up the price but i'm pleased to see that urlacher will be the core of The Disciples of the 36 Chambers defense for many years to come.

Wow, didn't expect to get both Edge and Deuce but I will take them as RBs are going for big bucks. One way to look at it as I got the two of them for only 1100 more than what LT went for on his own and 2600 more than what McGahee went for :bling

There are a lot of teams out there without any RBs, who are they waiting on?

Actually Tiki is only 2500. My hopes are to land 1 of them, I just couldn't let Rudi sell at such a relatively cheap price in this market.

If I land both, no problem. Ill only carry 3 RB's and cut back even further on D. I have a plan in place should that occur, and it's not THAT far off from my earlier budget.

Nice pick up Gates by :skippy ... last year he was a top 10 WR let alone TE and he went for much less than top 10 WRs are going to go for in this auction.

No way reds will get both Rudi and Tiki as so many people need RBs ... a few guys are going to be fighting it out for JJ, Tatum and Jackson.

Domanick Davis is out there as well, as is Corey Dillon, but after that the RB pickings are pretty slim. Letting Gates sell was not easy for me, I love him as a player, however, I just had my neck out too far on other bids this morning to keep him in play.

They have not been around too much lately, which I think is what kept them down. Have we heard from Valencia, did he return "our" calls?

Actually, just :Bills and :Buccaneer are "my" teams, though I think I'm a closet :homer for the :Ravens

OK, I spoke with Brent (Brett's good buddy out in CA), he told me he's pretty certain (like 95%) that Brett was out of town for 1-2 weeks. Not sure when he left, or when he'll be back, or if it was planned, but that's the latest info I got.

Sounds like he's ok though, which was a bigger concern IMO.

Eh? The LT deal maybe, but that was more for kicks that morning, and cause I KNEW Burt would pay more.

Rudi was at a legit sale point, being overpaid as the 11th best back despite being a 15-20 range producer.

Had I known randi was still targeting Rudi I woulda switched focus to Tiki instead of letting him sell... that's what I'm pissed about, but I'll get over it, he did what's best for his team... I can still :rant about it though!
