Quite the opposite, getting Vilma let me stretch another bid onto Ray. I have a feeling we're reading the most competitive cap structure a little differently - we'll revisit that question in a few years.

I think I out of just about every player being bid on. Prices climbed so high so quick. Probably a good thing I will be away for a couple of days (out until 5/26). I will have someone checking in for me, so I will keep up.

EDIT: BTW, it looks like McNabb sold, so I will nominate another player now before I head out.

Yeah I have been trying to drive up some auction prices, hopefully it will smoke screen who I really want. As for Moss, just being practical as my prediction is he will go for a bit over 3000, but we will see.

Are you all getting extra cap $$$ to bid on players? Or is this a non-cap league a la the George Steinbrenner Fantasy Football League? Maybe I'm just a cheap ass a la Billy Beane and Paul DePodesta.

Hint: spread 'em out boys, you should all have at least two players with a 3600+ value. and get 'em early. hint, hint.

I think it is pretty ironic that the 1st player on my team is a kicker when I have been one of the more active bidders, especially on high price guys.

what can i say i've known rex since he was in high school, and since entering the nfl he's been my favorite player. get used to it, you'll continue to hear "grossman this" and "grossman that" for a long time. just ask the mutts, he's probably sick of it already.
