Prices are crazier than I expected.... and we havent even seen what WRs will go for!

We have had some baseline for every position but WR... so when the first WR gets bid on that should help settle the market... I think.

they were original 48 hour bids, thus they were still alive. Only bids made from 12:00am and later today were on the 24 hour clock.

As it is, there are now NO players that are NOT on the 24 hour clock.

The previous bids for both players were placed yesterday, before the 24 hour clock went into effect for new bids at 12:01 AM. Both of them were grandfathered into a 48 hour bid window.

Really I must have misunderstood I thought J. Babs would be on the 24 clock or I would have waited to put him out there. Why not just make everyone's second player (by position) and onward part of the 24 deal? Not like we have not seen enough of the first 24 guys put out there!!

He is on the 24 hours clock. Read it again. Any bid after 12:00am Wednesday (as in between Tuesday and Wednesday midnight) is 24 hours. Mike is right when he says every player now is as the old 48 bids are all at least a day old.

I haven't complained yet about nickle and diming, I think it's a legit play.

The complaint is that the auctions are necer going to close, which may well hold true.... that being said, you have to do what's best for YOUR team, sometimes keeping a guy in play is just that, doing whats best for you whil you evaluate other parts of the market.

The Rules Committee has held discussions on a 36 player market (2 IOP, 1 IDP per team). Right now a couple of the members wanted to wait a few days to see how the 24 hour timer works, but it is being considered.

I made my stand against the nickel and diming. I clearly stated my intentions in the Heap thread. Nothing changed. Maybe as the draft drags on, people will stop nominating top tier players for 100 cb and bid up at the minimum for 5 pages. I guess that won't happen at the begining of the draft. We'll see how things progress over time.
