I think I need to make room for M-Rob and B. Lloyd has been something of a disappointment since coming to Washington!

Is the "since coming from Washington" really necessary in this sentence?

I don't have the complete numbers (about 120 points average over the last 2 season) but he was a servicable WR#3 or WR#4 for the price I thought. Of course the Freedom have not been known for high quality WR's.
