OK, Burt, can you please explain

you were thinking with this bid? You do realize you just tied up 500cb of your cap all summer right? IR isn't allowed until the end of the off-season FA period.

please explain, I'm confused!

No kidding. It's like putting your house on the market and someone coming the first day offering your asking price, and you'll never know how much you could have got for it.

I guess I don't just live for this year. If he does indeed end up being the top TE in the league, then after this year I'l have him under a great contract. I guess the chance I have to take, and wait until August to pick up a backup. To tell the truth, I was rather surprised that I got him this cheap, seeing how Rickey is currently over 400, and he isn't even technically on a team yet, but maybe I still just don't have a clue.....

AND, quite frankly, if prices don't begin getting more realistic, I may end up with LT and a bunch of bench warmers. Granted I did overpay for LT, but looking at his salary in the other contract leagues, I am not the only one who overpaid for him.
