All is quiet on the Frenzy Front... too quiet... way too quiet... could visions of sugar plums be dancing in the heads of our two Frenzy Bowl GMs? Are they getting taken in by the dazzling lights, distracted from their upcoming competition? Or maybe, just maybe... they haven't finished their shopping yet!?

Whatever the reason... give us something to root for as the rest of us "also-rans" gear up for the Frenzy Bowl. Come on... that way-cool trophy's at stake, you know!?!?! :champ

[Mutts]

I'm not so sure I could genuinely talk any smack. I'm still dazed by the loss of Owens. Lets put this in perspective... I just lost the #1 WR in the league, and will be replacing him with either Clarence Moore or Larry Fitzgerald. I'm sure hoping the stars will align for me, but will be amazed if it happens. Too bad for Mike, a 2nd title would be rather anti-climatic against my crippled team. (Though somehow I imagine he doesn't mind, and is gleeful right now as he looks over my options.) My squad was built to blossom in the next couple of years, so the current starter depth is pretty much zero. Oh well, three cheers for the over-achieving Mutts! :drink

You better believe the Wonder Mutts are taking in every part of the Frenzy Bowl experience, though! Talk this week among the team is all about thirst for more, a hunger for future playoffs. I have a feeling my guys want to make a habit out of this. ;)

[Preds]

The Preds are a confident but quiet group this week. There's still work to be done, partying and drinking can come after the game (and it will if things go our way as anticipated).

We've been here before and know what it takes to win it all... now is not the time to be celebrating just making it to the bowl... besides, we got the celebrating out of our systems a couple weeks ago when the Opihi so gracioulsy hosted us out in the islands! ;)

G'luck Jake, if you take me down this week I'll openly acknowledge your championship and congratulate you on your unlikely feat!
