cut WR Peerless Price (Atl)

After some thorough research, I decided I didn't want Peerless THAT bad after all.

He's currently the 45th ranked WR

FBG Ranks him at 41 among WR's in their Top 200 Players going forward, with a trade value of 103. I tend to agree.

To make room for Price I would have had to cut McCown, Boo Williams, and probably Moe Williams as well. While Boo is way overpriced, he is starting to show SOME signs of life.

And I like this McCown kid for next year and the year after. Even at 400 cb's. FBG apparently does as well seing as they rank him at QB21 with a trade value of 131.

Price has the name recognition, but the numbers haven't been there to back the name.

Thus, I reluctantly throw Price back in the Free Agent Waters.

Note: I've made this cut WITHIN the 24 hour window thus Roster Penalties outside the normal cap penalty are NOT assessed... which means I can still bid on Price again if I choose.

Just to clarify... because you cut him within the 24 hour period, you didn't need to free up a roster space to sign him before releasing him, right?

I had 24 hours to make roster/cap space... I made space by releasing Price. The 20% cap hit still applies, but Roster Penalties do not since I declared my intentions within the 24 hour window.

Oh... I see... after someone else replies, the signature goes away... AS IT SHOULD BE!

No not at all... you have the option of turning the signature on and off... there is a check box in the lower right corner. I usually only use it when I want to annoy you all... like THIS time! ;)

This just in... I made a MISTAKE in bidding up Price, and it bit me in the darrier!

BTW... this public service announcement is just for the Ragers! ;)

Gee, Mike... with the rebidding back up in the 500-range, looks like you could have tried to TRADE Price before you cut him...
