Default Please Help- Blind Bidding for Free Agents

I am trying to get some wording for a "blind bidding" process. My local league is at the point where we vote on rule changes and this was a suggestion that we wanted to offer.

I know that most guys here are in at least one other league so if anyone has wording on from their rules on this I would appreciate it!!

Here is a section out of my rules for the silent auction league I am in. Hope they help.

The Silent Auction
• The Date/Time of the start of the auction is TBD, but will probably be in July.
• We will be using the following positions: Quarterback, Running back, Wide receiver, Tight end, Kicker, and Defense/Special Teams.
• Player positions will be determined by using the NFL.com team lists.
• The roster size is 17 players. And this must be filled at the end of the draft.
• The salary cap for the league is $200. (The cap only applies to the draft. It will not be tracked during the season.
Auction Format
• Each round owners will submit a list of 3 players to be auctioned off (in order of preference) with a minimum bid for each player.
• The auctioneer (not an owner) compiles a list of players for the round.
• If two teams propose the same player then one with the higher minimum bid is taken and the other owner is left with their second pick.
• The auctioneer sends out the list of players for the round to the owners and each owner submits his bids for any or all players. Players will be ordered by minimum bid and the by last name
• Any bid placed must be more than the minimum listed.
• The auctioneer will process the bids from the top of the list to the bottom. If at any time an owners winning bid will place him over the cap (or not leave him enough cap to fill his team) his bid is disqualified and the next highest bid wins.
Auction Tie-Break
• Each owner should submit a 4 digit number to be used as their "Tie Break" for the entire auction.
• If a tie occurs, the 4 digit number will be compared to the New York pick 4 number for the day. Whichever owner is closest (above or below) wins the bid.
• The numbers do wrap around from the top to the bottom. Number 9999 is adjacent to 0000
