Chiefs v Patriots postponed

Looks like this has been postponed but MFL is not showing it as a Bye like the titans game. Should we be removing players from this game? I am running out of players that will actually be playing with some of my teams.

Word is they are going to try to reschedule for this Monday or Tuesday...but they said the same about the Titans v Steelers game. Hopefully we have word early tomorrow morning so we can all adjust. If not, I guess it'll be a toss of the dice on whether to start someone or not.

Or...if no word early tomorrow, maybe we can submit a "backup" lineup and if it is postponed like the Titans v Steelers then lineup would switch to the backup...just a thought.

I think in this case (and future cases), when a game is postponed and no definitive play date has been given, we should consider listing backup players in the comments in the event the starters game is cancelled after Sunday games have started (like could happen with Pats/Chiefs this week).

So how about if we have no replacement? In SACd,I only have Butker at PK... No time to get a replacement now

I'd be good with selecting a FA K that is added for this week only and immediately dropped but only as the backup/replacement K if the game is postponed to a later week...and only if no other option avail on roster. No penalty promotion/demotion from TS would be good in this situation too imo.

Something else to consider. Just for Covid rescheduled games, would we consider allowing one game callups from Taxi/Practice Squads with no penalty (although the current $5 per game isn't debilitating from a salary standpoint)? They of course would be required to be moved back down as soon as the weekend's games were over and we'd have to agree to allow Practice Squad players to return to the Practice Squad. Thoughts?

I agree with this idea, but ONLY if a team has no other option on the Active Roster, TS or PS that can step in, and only if the teams PPD game transitions to a BYE after Friday at midnight each week.

I'm good with anything that keeps the teams on a level playing field. Listing subs in the comments sounds perfect.

Ok, since time is running short, if no other options per Mike's response, team without replacement can post on FA thread a one game replacement FCFS.
Any call up from TS or PS, specified as replacement, will be moved back to same farm spot free of charge.

The plan is if you designate a player from KC or NE this week in your "Submitted Lineup" that you will list a backup choice for said player(s) in the "comments" section. If the game is played M or T you get your original choice(s) but if it is postponed you get your backup choices score for this weeks total.

If roster requirement can be covered within Active Roster then neither free cb ($$$) movement and return to taxi/practice squads nor quick fix temporary free agent pickups would be an option.

I'm OK with this 2020 COVID fantasy football solution to this NFL games delay or postponement situation.
