This cut is 2 minutes past the 24 hour window to clear space for Bailey. A move had to be made by 5:10 PM to clear roster space for Bailey.

I'll notify Commish Jim for a decision on whether or not Roster Penalties will be enforced.

I'm all about having a little grace... 2 min. late on a cut isn't a big deal for me.
I'll let it go. But if the league wants to protest... and have me reconsider... come at me, bro!

By the way... if you want an insight on my thinking... here goes:

BEES won Bailey, and was able to set the years with just 3 min. to go before the 24 hour deadline finished. Granted, he just went with one year... but had he been late for that AND for the cut, I probably would have had a different response.

I know some might suggest it's a "slippery slope" to let things slide with the 2 min. late post... however, this is a league that's just for fun. No money is exchanged at the end of the season (except for paying for the trophy to get shipped to the next champion). So I'd like to give a little grace whenever possible. If an owner starts taking advantage of that grace... or if the owner is consistently late in meeting deadlines... then I need to take a different tact. But Mike (Bees) has been fine as an owner abiding by the rules.

SO... that's my call.

But seriously... if others think I'm being too lenient, please speak up. This is not a dictatorship.

I'm amazed it was actually right at 24 hours +- a couple minutes. No excuse here...I totally forgot to post.

The funny part was when I did try to post...I tried to search Vinatieri on the forum to see the years/contact amount and it wouldn't work. I had to go through like 4-5 pages on my phone to see where I drafted him lol.

It was my intention to replace Vinny the whole time. I needed a bye week replacement for week 12 and I was worried that Vinny was going to retire this week.

I understand and am OK with any infractions....in fact, I think they should be enforced
