Preds fans getting excited about possible return of 84

Rumors are swirling about a possible return of Antonio Brown to the Predators, a place he disappointingly had to leave after 2018's Stormgate caused an unfortunate miscommunication of a multi-year contract with the team prior to the deadline for Matching the offer sheet with the Roosters.

AB went on to have an up and down season, one in which he was traded to the Scorpions yet still missed the playoffs. While finishing as WR5 last season, something seemed well off with Antonio, perhaps a result of the off-season drama that forced him away from the franchise he had career years with for so many seasons prior to Stormgate.

The clock is ticking on the Preds attempt to possibly reacquire Antonio via their own offer sheet, which just may be too steep for Scorpions to match. Reports are that an offer sheet could be signed within the next 2 hours. Stay tuned PredsMafia!

The PredsMafia is bristling with anticipation on the news that Antonio Brown has signed an offer sheet to return home to the place where he's had the majority of his career success.

Preds GM Mike SantaLucia told reporters a few minutes ago that while Antonio was willing to sign for a bigger discount, they felt it had to be only a slight one in order to leave enough of a poison pill to hopefully prevent a match by the Scorpions.

After last years drama where an electrical storm halted communications to the league and sent the team, Brown, and fans on a roller coaster of emotions with the unexpected loss of Brown on a technical glitch, the organization is ecstatic at his possible return.

Things worked out poorly for all parties last year, with Brown struggling to find his form with the Roosters and subsequently traded to the Scorpions, while the Preds struggled with their first losing record ever in the Frenzy without the heart and soul or their receiving corps.

Will the Scorpions match? It will be a tense 72 hours for the Preds and PredsMafia as they wait out a decision.

Surprised Antonio can sit still this long...he is the most "ants in the pants" player out there right now...I'm rooting for him to have a good season as I hate seeing players throw water buckets on the sidelines...

Scorpions are short in the WR dept and Brown rounds out the receiving corps nicely...Cards would rather a Brown leave the West, but we just don't see it happening...too big a need in Scorp land...

We will send scouts to help with the rioting in upstate NY though...lol
