2016 NFL Byes and 2016 schedule notes that WILL affect the Frenzy schedule

4 weeks with only 2 teams on bye, 3 weeks with 4 teams on bye, and 2 weeks with the dreaded 6 teams on bye.

The biggest anomaly is NO BYES week 12, but Cleveland and Tennessee off week 13.

With week 13 byes the Frenzy doubleheader CANNOT be that week. The doubleheader will have to be week 12, or weeks 1 - 3.

Division games should be weeks 1-3, 7, 12, and 13 (not week 11 since 4 teams are on bye that week.

BTW, I think we might want to consider abandoning the double header concept and playing into week 14. That would give us another week for division games without byes.

Playoffs can move to week 15-17.

I added a link to the original post to vote on a schedule change rule I'm proposing that will alleviate some of the bye issues and eliminate the double header by extending the schedule a week.
