After much deliberation, the OPIHI have decided to take a flier on the 2001 Motor City Bowl Offensive MVP and 2002 Hula Bowl North Team Offensive MVP... Mr. Division IIA, CHESTER TAYLOR.
I'm thinking that even if Jamal Lewis comes back from his ACL, he's not going to be his old self. Brookins hasn't done much to endear himself to Coach Billick & Co., so Taylor could very well start as the 3rd down back. Then, if a mid-season injury befalls Lewis, Taylor steps into the feature back position.
It's a longshot... but this seemed like a tremendous upside value pick. Then again, it could be a bust... but that's what makes the 3rd round exciting!
