4th round selection by the 49ers. Great athlete (played point guard for South Carolina as a freshman)... crowded situation in San Francisco, but he should make the roster. Down the road he has a chance to be a regular producer. Great Frenzy 4th rounder, in my opinion.

Footballguys view: Ellington reminds some in the scouting community of Randall Cobb (Packers) because of his speed and run-after-the-catch ability. He has great body control and hand/eye coordination which help make him a clutch receiver who can be a quarterback favorite. Ellington will compete for the slot receiver duties behind Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin.
