Ok guys. Here's the situation. I screwed up and misposted my declarations and consequent cuts at the beginning of the season, then didn't see the comments on one of the threads and so never clarified it. Here are the two posts in question (posted approximately 1 hour apart):
http://predsff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18292 http://predsff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18294 In the 1st post, I listed the correct team, position, and commented on the fact that I meant to cut Skelton since AZ had just traded for Kolb. However I put "Jonathan Dwyer" instead of "John Skelton." I also listed Jonathan Dwyer in the second post making my declarations, so apparently I shouldn't post roster moves before 10am in the morning. The only confirmation of what my intentions were is a sent email I still have to my co-owner stating that it made more sense to cut Skelton because of the Kolb situation and that I wanted to hold onto Dwyer as insurance in case Mendenhall went down. Can the other owners please chime in on how you think this should be handled? I screwed up the original moves, so I'll abide by what the league decides and won't make a fuss beyond this. Thanks. Clowns

Makes sense...its why we initially questioned the post...
But I would like to hear from others...not sure if we should add a penalty as we have in the past when others forgot to declare one of their rookies, were penalized... This seems to be more of a typo then clearly forgetting to declare someone...

I'm fine on giving a mulligan here...but there needs to be some time duration for clarification as a few people commented on the post because of the confusion and there wasn't a reply so it was assumed it was Dwyer.

Sounds like a senior moment and he's no where close to eligible for one of those!! I'm ok for a late clarification.

I will let it pass. It seems like a mistake I am afraid I am going to make every time I post.

I don't think it matters but for the record I am voting against the mulligan .. there was plenty of opportunity early on to correct this mistake, but I am assuming that it is only coming up now because of Dwyers flukey performance last week? 2 months later you discover the error? Really?!

A little condescending, don't you think? And by the way, he's still listed on my team in the Roster App, which is what we're officially supposed to go off of.

I apologize to Patrick. I wasn't trying to throw him under the bus and yes, I agree that he is simply performing a valuable service for the league and isn't the responsible party for changes to teams.
The point I was trying to make was that there was no reason for me to go back and review an old posting when it wasn't incorrect on the Roster App in the first place.
