If we do not vote to freeze post season rosters, there are many proposals, which include:
Requiring players picked up in the post season be played by that team the week they were picked up. Should we institute a waiver wire, based on seeding (lowest seeded team gets 1 pickup, up through the top seed), then a first come first serve pickup process from Wednesday on? There would essentially be no cap in the post season. These players would be picked up for a minimum salary (as they would not be allowed to be tendered as RFAs, their salary doesn’t matter), but would still count against normal roster cap requirements (you would still need a roster spot and the minimum salary open to sign them). Should we keep the same system we have, with bidding for players ending midnight each Saturday, allowing teams to ensure they can pick a player up for that week’s games? Should we make no changes? Other proposal? You can vote for multiple choices. The requirement to make players start the week they are picked up is a stand alone vote (if 7 teams support this, it will be adopted). Among the others, the top two vote getters will face each other in a run off election after the voting closes (or all teams have voted). If you vote for other proposal, please give a full description of your propsal in a message in this thread. |

I voted for other. I would like all post season rosters to be frozen.

Note,
I edited the poll results. I had voted for multiple options (as per Brian's instructions), however it appears everybody else (except Brian) has only picked 1 option. Therefore I changed my vote to the option I support the most.

Hmm, I guess I could do the same, but then we'd have a 4 way tie for first place with two votes. I can't believe more people can't live with more than one of these ideas. The point is to try to weed out the least popular ideas so we can focus on the ones that the majority of owners can live with, then select the best one.
