4.09 QB Ryan Mallett NEP

Even though the opportunity isn't there for at least 2 (probably more like 3) years, Mallett has just as much talent as the QBs taken ahead of him. Now he gets to learn under an elite QB and an elite coach which should help the character issues that plagued his draft status. There are probably better odds that he is traded for a pile of draft picks down the line than he ends up the future QB in NE, but you never know.

Would have likely been the Gunslingers next pick as I was hoping to get him in the Frenzy or SAC'd. Oh, well looks like we will need to look elsewhere.
