Agreed. It took a while but after last weekend it seems like the Freedom should start focusing on 2011 (and beyond). Hopefully this move will help us get where we need to be.

Feeding Frenzy 2010 Trade
Philadelphia Freedom gave up: Hillis, Peyton CLE RB

Bayern Reds gave up: Williams, Mike SEA WR

There was no mention here of the draft pick and this might be because the system did not provide a way to define which first rounder I am going to get. Just wanted to make sure that it did not get lost in the shuffle. Thanks!

Ya, I was hoping Hillis would only score like 20 pts...but 45 man thats hard to overcome. That's almost half my total score.

Ummmm...there could be an issue with this trade...just to throw a nut in things...

Rules state trading deadline is the Wednesday before Week 12 games...well, we now play Week 12 games in Week 11, as we have the double header....

So, staying to the intent of the rule, should this trade not have been allowed? We are either moving our trading deadline to before game 11 or before game 13...Sticky wicket indeed...

I think this was set up to prevent team that are out of playoffs to start dumping players to teams that are in playoffs....do we stay by the letter of the rule, as it was before this rule change, or adjust it? Does it negate this trade, or do we make a rule for future seasons?

I think we need to let this trade stand because it wasn't brought up earlier. We just need to move it for future seasons to prior to week 11. That's my thought on it.

Unless I lose this week, then the trade is void. ;)

I agree. Trade stands.
I have no problem with keeping the trade deadline at week 12 for now.
We don't seem to have an issue right now with "fire sales."

Also, this thread was indicating 11/24:

Not that it matters since the trade will stand but for future reference...
