According to my records, I'm still $7 under the cap limit. However, I was just made aware by Dale (Scorpions) that I may be over the cap. Not sure where the mix up is (could be Braylon Edward's claim/cut)... but I just got back from church & have other things to do in the next few hours...

SO...

I'm making a conditional cut. If I am over the limit, then Westy's gone.
However, if it turns out that I'm NOT over the limit, I'd like to be able to keep him on my roster.

I'll leave the 2 other members of the rules committee to make the declaration, should my figures prove correct. If not, then it's a moot point.

Roster app shows you have 262, so i am assuming that is correct, and i need to make adjustments to the site to get the corect amount.
MFL site shows 217.
I see the roster app refunds the full 89 back to you, but i think its only 10% you get back when a player is claimed off waivers, i.e half the cut penalty of 20%

That's where the error is. I originally had deducted the entire 20%... then it got claimed and I before I adjusted my own chart, a new roster app came out... and it had the entire 20% gone. So I just kept it at that, and thought I had misunderstood the cap hit/claim thing (it's been a while since I've had a player I've cut claimed off of waivers - and I've cut a LOT of players in my day!).

So... I need to subtract another 45cbs... so instead of being 7cbs under, I'm actually 38cbs over... so the Westbrook cut should stand.

My bad...for some reason I was thinking you get back 20% on claimed player...just not the remaining signing bonus.

I'll double check to make sure I haven't done that on other claims
