This signing puts you over the 12 IDP roster limit, unless I missed a cut somewhere...

Can't rebid on player for 30 days

I thought there was a 24-hour window to make cuts? I am not sure when that clock would've started as it happened over the weekend I guess but I am confused because you declared the player sold at 6:46AM and the cut 30 mins later?

Right, you have 24 hours from the time the player sells to make cuts, not from the time I post SOLD in the thread. I can't be out here 24/7 monitoring player bidding.

He sold on Sat at 6:26pm EST, so you had until Sun 6:26pm EST to make a cut. Clock only stops on bidding on Saturday midnight, not on you getting under the caps. Sorry.

Hmmm.. Interesting... So just to be clear.. IF I had made cuts and given him a contract on Sunday at 4:00PM EST (inside the 24-Hour window) I could've put him in my starting line-up because the Cardinals had a 4:15PM EST kick-off?

The rules are pretty clear on these subjects (granted we went to a 18/12 split on the 30 player limit, I guess whoever is in charge of keeping rules current should change this part of it, but we know that is part of it)
.....really I don't just make this shit up as I go along....and there is a link available for all to read and determine these things on their own.....
http://sacd.predsff.com/OfficialSACDRules.html

========================================
9B. In-Season Free Agent Acquisitions:

5. Teams must also responsibly manage their 30 roster slots. Teams will not be permitted to exceed 30 players at any time. Any acquisition that places you over the 30 man roster limit without a move to get back to 30 or below will be placed in "pending" status for no longer than 24 hours. Teams will have a 24 hour grace period from the time of the acquisition that places them over 30 to get back down to 30 or fewer on the roster before penalties start to kick in. If a move isn't made within the 24 hour grace period the player will be released, and roster penalties will be assessed.

6. Owners will be responsible for tracking bid status. Keep in mind, the forum board will list current bids on top and older bids towards the bottom. Threads will be closed 24 hours after a bid is won.
=======================================

6E. Starting Lineups:
The deadline for naming starters is at the start on the first game of the week (with the exception of Thursday and Saturday games... for those weeks, only players involved in the early game(s) need to be declared starting, you can change the rest of your lineup up until the 1st game on Sunday).
===========================================

So to answer your question, while you have a 24 hour window to get your roster in compliance, you need to submit your lineup before the start of the 1st game...so if you waited until 4:00pm to make your cut, then if that game was the first game played that week, then YES you would have been able to start him. If there were games played before that time, then NO you would not be able to start him.

If I do not add the player before the start of first game, you can submit your lineup with a note that you would like to start the player you have legally aquired, and I can adjust your lineup when that player is added.

All clear now?
