He is a wrecking ball of a middle linebacker. Maualuga is aggressive, plays downhill and doesn't shy away from contact. He's also a punishing tackler. Although he lacks the hip fluidity to stay with NFL backs in man coverage he can hold his own in zone coverage and is a strong interior pass-rusher

Junior Seau...Jr. Fast, plays with his heart as much as his ability. Tends to overpursue and there are major questions about his desire to play on Sundays after he basically stopped working out between the end of the college season and the draft, but should get all the chances in the world to put up big numbers in Cinci.
