This was a difficult decision. I could have cut WR Devin Hester or released Forsett. I like Forsett in Indy, but don't know if he'll ever be more than a special teams player for them. I reasoned that Hester has a better shot at making a significant contribution in the near future. I could be wrong.
I'm not banking on Hester making a significant contribution to the passing game in Chicago... but I can easily cut him later & re-promote Steve Smith. I really like Smith's future in NY... but I think he's still a year away from being a possible every-week fantasy contributor. |

I like it when people explain their reasoning. It makes the game more interesting to me. Not enough people do this
Jim, you rule!

Thanks. I've been in this league long enough, there's no reason to keep secrets.
I'm still a bit worried that the RB situation in Indy could turn around in such a way that this move comes back to bite me in the butt... but I've been thinking about doing this all week... and finally decided to make it happen. |
