How is that a waste? If he's still suffering from the concussion and car injury, then you cut him for a whopping $10 cap hit. If he isn't, he should put up top 10 numbers at LB. Not sure I see the downside here you Geek!

He might be low-risk but he is also low-reward! Sorry, I just think he is a chump (Zack not Shader.. well maybe Shader too...
). The guy is done. Toast. Over. No future. Think about the time spent trying to guess when he should be in the starting line-up, hoping against hope that he will put up some numbers, and then when he lays an egg even MORE time will be spent wondering if maybe it will be next week that he shows some value? I am not even going to talk about the roster spot he is sucking up that whole time when there are certainly other more productive players with bigger upside still in the FA market... How would you sum that up? ... I would say it is a WASTE!

Geeks are we talking about the same guy here? He doesn't lay eggs when he plays. When he plays he gets 10 tackles a game, and it's been that way for years. Last year he only played in 5 games and he had 52 tackles.
Is he an injury risk? Yes. Is he a long-term solution? No. Is he worth 100 bucks? Heck yeah. |

I really don't care whether anyone raises him or not. Thomas has been the best linebacker to have for about 5 years aside from last year. He joins a team hoping to make the super bowl, which should surely energize him.
Your ridiculous statement that he is low-reward is just plain dumb. If he's healthy, he could be a top 2 or 3 linebacker. Not bad for 100 bucks. If he's not healthy, stays hurt and doesn't perform, he won't stay on the team, and I'll be out 20 bucks. Whoopty-do |
