Decline .... I love Manning, but looking at the last 6 weeks last year, Garrard was scoring only 3 or 4 pts a week less. Having Garrard at 100 vs Manning at 1450 opens up a lot of cap space for me.
Enjoy Manning! Last edited by Amish; April 10th, 2008 at 09:16 PM. |

Interesting. I'm a bit surprised.
That puts writing on the wall for matching Willie I guess, which will of course have a domino effect on my LJ bid...

Not so fast. I think Joel's known all along he's declining Manning, so a decision on Parker wasn't dependent on that. Why's he waiting? The only other variable out there for him: Steve Smith.

Sweet! I thought for sure you'd match. With Marv coming back and Gonzalez building upon a solid rookie season, I'm looking forward to Peyton putting up about 4,300 yds with 38 TDs and 10 INTs.

Re: QB Peyton Manning, IND - SOLD for 1450 to Swords *Match DECLINED by Amish*
I was thinking of matching BUT leaning more towards 2 good backs especially with Garrard's cheap contract and his peforming 4 pts a week under Manning for 1300 less.
