The new divisions would be named by the divisional teams themselves. The new divsions would be:
Opihi, Freedom, Ragers, and Insects Dodgers, Avengers, Popes, and Amish Absolut, Mutts, Derby Cars, and Swords Last edited by Popes; March 20th, 2008 at 02:13 PM. |

Not when we have a majority vote rule that probably means 7 of 12 have to vote Yes for something to change.
BTW, this kind of illustrates my point on why I like majority of votes cast. If you and 3 other teams really don't care at all and want to let the 8 teams that care decide, you could just abstain (essentially voting "don't care"). As it is, I guess have to ask all the Don't Care people to please vote Yes, or we won't make a change, even if all 12 teams either want to or don't care. |

I probably should make this point in the other thread, but I'd probably be fine with including "abstain" options in polls where people really don't care one way or the other. Their abstain option would reduce the total number of teams voting, thus with one abstention, we just need a majority of 11 owners.
My problem with not having a majority of 12 is having people not paying attention/not being active. If people are paying attention enough to come to a poll and actively say "the rest of the league can decide this" then I'm fine with not requiring their vote. P.S. Mike, I know you think it's funny, but please stop voting in our polls. I'd rather be able to quickly see if everyone has voted by looking at the total and not have to weed your your votes. Thanks.

I have no problem with this passing, so I'll vote yes. But I'm not passionate about it either. |

C'mon non-voters. I've seen many of you online a bunch of times. Let's get these outstanding issues voted on and resolved before RFA time starts!

With Frank's abstention, then this would pass. Six of the potential 11 vote yes, and the only no vote to this point is a former team. The thread has been open for almost a week, giving everyone ample opportunity to voice their objection. The divisions are re-aligned.
Note to MFL coordinators, we'll have to move the teams around. |

For the record: in the discussion thread (http://www.predsff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11959), no one objected and 3 non-voting teams were fine with it (didn't care either way).
