UFAs are NOT TS eligible.

Yea he was drafted (by me ironically), but once he was cut and became a UFA he lost his TS/PS eligibility.

You're correct. UFA's are NOT TS/PS eligible.

I was thinking voiding them would be fair as well. I think allowing him to rethink the years is reasonable too (assuming he does so in a reasonable timeframe).

He still has to make an active roster cut within the next few hours, or he's going to be released in FA. I've been operating under the assumption of when that happens, a 1 year contract is assumed.

Well it was worth a shot putting him on the TS. I saw where the player had to be less than 3 years in the league but did not see anything thing else about eligibility. Can I keep him on my active roster for 1 wk, then drop him to TS and add on the one week addition to the salary?

No, only players on rookie contracts are eligible for TS & PS.

Also, if this were true, there'd have been A LOT more bidding (by me) earlier this year on guys like DeShawn Wynn and Kenton Keith.
