The Black Watch Royal Highlanders have started the season 1-3 for the second consecutive year. Their 50.6 points was the lowest score in team history, and the 5th lowest score in Frenzy history. Joseph Addai's 26.85 points was the 7th highest RB score in team history.

The Parkwood Predators have tied their worst start ever at 2-2, done previously in 2002 and 2006.

The Philadelphia Freedom have again started the season 1-3, as they have every year except 2006 when they were 3-1.

The Royal Hawaiian Opihi have started the season 3-1 for the 3rd time in team history, tying their best start. Their 88.7 points was the 3rd lowest score in team history. Jason Witten's 16.1 points was the 8th highest TE score in team history.


The Soap Box Derby Cars are 3-1 for the second consecutive year, tying their best start. Their 147.1 points was the 4th highest score in team history, and highest since scoring 148.2 in week 13 of the 2004 season. Dallas Clark's 22.6 points was the highest TE score in team history, breaking his own team record of 21.5 score in week 11 of the 2005 season.

The Amish Rake Fighters have started 0-4 in both years of their existience. They extended their franchise worst losing streak to 8 games, dating back to last season. Their 92.05 points was the 4th lowest score in team history. Daunte Culpepper's 35.4 points was the 4th highest QB score in team history. Heath Miller's 6.1 points was the 8th highest TE score in team history. Stephen Gostkowski's 10.7 points was the highest K score in team history.

The Wonder Mutts' 152.45 points was the 5th highest score in team history. Tony Romo's 40.85 points was the 3rd highest QB score in team history. The Mutts' margin of victory over the Highlanders of 101.85 points was the 5th largest margin of victory in Frenzy history.

The Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects have tied their worst start at 2-2, which they have started each season at except 2001 and 2004. Their 84.2 points was the 10th lowest score in team history, and lowest since scoring 76.35 points in week 12 of the 2004 season. Shaun Alexander passed Clinton Portis to become the Insects all time leading rusher with 779.15 points in 30 games for the Insects from 2004-05 & 07. Portis had 779.1 points in 31 games from 2002-04 for the Insects.

Adam Vinatieri of the St. Paul Popes passed Mike Vanderjegt to move into 5th place all time among Frenzy kickers with 427.75 points in 47 games for a 9.1 career average.

The Nittany Dodgers have tied their best start at 3-1, which they started previously in 2002. Brett Favre's 30.75 was the 10th highest QB score in team history. Deion Branch passed Reggie Wayne to become the Dodgers all time leading receiver with 313.3 points in 29 games for the Dodgers from 2004-07. Wayne had 312.9 points in 22 games for the Dodgers in 2005-06.

A number of players appeared in Frenzy games for the first time in several years. Brian Griese played his first Frenzy game since 2002. Jeff Garcia and Marty Booker played their first Frenzy game since 2003. Sammy Morris played in his first Frenzy game since 2004.
