Since I was asked, I'll post here for clarification on the rule on placing a player on the IR. The NFL reporting has changed, so that they don't post the 'practice status' of players anymore on the official weekly Injury Status report. MFL has adapted the way our league qualifies IR eligible. Thus our rule of using NFL.com is really now against the spirit of the rule.
So, short story, if MFL allows you to place a player on IR, then they are qualified. If it doesn't allow you, they won't Make sense?
