I considered taking him at 1.16, but figured if I could only have one, I'd rather have Tony Hunt. I'm thrilled he fell this far. Is he in the best situation? No, but I passed on Steven Jackson in the first place because he wasn't in the best situation and look how well that turned out for me.

I was seriously considering him at 2.06 if was still there. I am not sure how he will fit from an FF perspective but I think we will be valuable to the Rams. Hopefully that will translate to points for you in FF.

He's a great receiver, and has the speed, power, and cut-back ability to be a big back in the NFL. I think he has potential to be a goal line back for the Rams (if they want to save wear and tear on Jackson) and while I don't dream of him being good enough to steal carries from Jackson, he could be good in the role of spelling him, and would be a great start if Jackson goes down.

Re: 2.04 RB Brian Leonard, St. Louis
I expect him to be a very good NFL back... and will help the Rams in a lot of ways. Whether or not that translates into fantasy prowess is another question... but he was definitely one of the best athletes available at this point in the draft. Can't fault you on this pick.

I like the comparrison to a Mike Alstott (probably faster, and not as good of a blocker).
I just need some RB warm bodies with potential at this point. |

Anything in the 2nd round and beyond is a crapshoot anyway... well done.
