1.12 RB Kenny Irons, CIN

Went back and forth between him & Booker. Read a ton of stuff on the FBG message boards... researched in my rookie mag (Sporting News)... and have decided to go with Kenny, despite being "buried" behind Rudy.

There are quite a few WRs I could have also taken a flier on... but in this league, RBs are at a premium. Might as well tuck another one on my roster... wait a few years... and hope he materializes. I've been burned in the past for not picking a guy because he was "stuck behind" a good starter. Won't make that mistake again. Definitely like the OL in Cincy better than in Miami.

Great pick. I was debating between Olsen, Irons, and Booker. Then I chopped it down to Olsen and Irons. I wanted to draft Irons, but I felt getting Olsen was a safe/value pick.

I gambled already with Bush... so didn't want to gamble again with Irons.
