I was going to wait until morning to see what I could get in a trade, but then I looked at my roster and realized I have no TE of the future. Olsen is coming from a line of U TEs that are hard to ignore and he was blazing fast at the combine running 4.5 at 6'5". It also helps that his contract is at the league minimum of 100... especially important as I look to place him on the activer roster in 2008 to clear Taxi Squad space for my 3 1st rounder draft picks! None of the QBs, RBs, or WRs left excite me much. After the Big 3, I only wanted Bush, Russell, Bowe, and Maechum. I took my gamble already with Micheal Bush, so this is my hedge bet that I get at least 1 starter out of the 2007 draft. I hope he is the anti-KWII.

Can't criticize you for this pick. At this point in the draft, it's as good as any. He was on my radar... but not in my top 2.
