SOLID PICK! He should have gone in the 3rd round. Great value. He and Harper were the two guys I was hoping would still be around at my 4.07 pick. Now my draft gets to be very creative!

What do you want from a late round RB pick:
1. "great contributor on special teams" - check 2. "we liked his versatility" - check 3. "hits the hole hard" / "runs real hard" / "Johnny, he is tough as heck" - check 4. "great kid, you will see guys - when you meet him you will fall in love with him" - check Bonus: 5. "i thought he would already be gone by the time our pick came around" |

I was considering taking him in the 3rd.
I think he'll contribute from day one on special teams in Buffalo, for sure. Will he get a chance to be "the guy" at any point? Maybe not. But he'll have a long NFL career, I'm guessing. |

I am kinda low on CJ Spiller as anything but a 3rd down guy.......
So I figure if Johnny here can get a roster spot somehow, once the season rolls around his competition for 1st / 2nd / GL work is old Fred and incompetent Quinton Ganthner.... How many rookie RBs are in a better situation!
