Broncos 1.11 QB Tim Tebow, Den

One of the best college Quarter backs, this kid knows how to win games.
A strong arm and excelent scambler, not afraid to mix it up, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Really? I thought 'Donk' was pretty good.. referring to The Denver 'Donkeys'? Get it?

You DO NOT even want to get me started on what a of a draft it was for Denver this year!!

Being an outsider to the situation and having a handful of Bronco guys here, do people in CO believe that he can adjust? If so, what are the expectations? Like do they expect him to start in 2011...2013?

Being in Colorado, I could care less....they are all still living in the Mr Ed era....

if McDaneils can turn Matt Cassel into a starter, i think he can teach Tebow.
Tebow has already shown he is willing to learn, he has already changed his mechanics, which was the biggest beef people had on him.
But, I will admit its a crap shoot.

As has been discussed ad-nausium, it really depends on how Tebow performs under pressure. His scrambling ability (although you may have hit it right on the nose with SCAMbler) won't do him much good in the NFL as he isn't all that fast. If he tries that stuff in the NFL, some LB or safety is going to knock him back to his childhood days. QBs who have to re-learn proper mechanics have a tendency to fall back into old habits when 350lb linemen are drawing a bead on them. If that happens, he goes the way of Jamarcus Russell.

Yes, but I'd bet they had better speed and/or size. No one was looking to draft Tebow based on his scrambling ability like, say a Vick or Young.

This, I thought, was a fairly even-handed and entertaining write-up:
http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/04/23/tim-tebow-the-reflection-in-your-mirror/

But it doesn't really matter if Tebow wins 5 Superbowls and becomes the best NFL QB to ever play.. it was a HORRIBLE draft simply because Denver could have got him in the 2nd round (or arguably the 3rd round): They over-paid for him no matter what the eventual return might be on that ‘investment’.

Wow. No hyperbole there. As far as him shedding tackles, that's all well and good in college. Let's see him shed Ray Lewis and Shaun Merriman, then you can start talking about The Hulk.
