We're still looking for the Ragers, Attack, Mutts & Amish (though I seem to remember hearing somewhere that the Amish were "retiring" due to a new child in the family).

Anyone know how to get in touch with any of these folks?

Obviously, the RFA period will be pushed back accordingly. We should probably start looking for at least one replacement. Any ideas?

We have not heard from Brett (Attack) in SAC'd either...his contact info seems to change yearly...Mike Santalucia has been my go-to guy to get in touch with Brett, but I have not seen Mike online lately...maybe I can post on his Facebook to see...Mutts updated his RFA list in SAC'd..you can email league logged in as Commish on the MFL site..

I'm pretty sure the AMISH are not returning. I've been trying to contact him... but so far, nothing. We may need more than one new owner. So if others have friends that would be interested in taking over a team... get them in line, too!

Checked in with Mike SantaLucia... he gave me Brett's last known email & cell phone numbers. Both turned up out of service. I think we can officially give away his spot.

Mike confirmed that Joel (AMISH) was trying to get someone to take his team at the end of last year... but hasn't heard from him lately. We might need to get someone "on deck" for this team, too.

I received the following PM from Joel back on November 5th:

I found out that Mandy and I are having a 3rd child. However, Mandy has to be on super rest for the rest of the pregnancy. (Not bed rest but massive low activity). We actually were just at the ER and were told we were going to have a miscarriage. We believe it was a miracle, but everything checked out fine 4 days later.

Anyway. I don't have the time to devote to this league. As you could tell by my roster, I haven't even promoted Percy Harvin from my TS. I know you were thinking about joining back in. Would you take over my team? It is in great shape for a run this year and possible for the next few years with my 2nd year RBs (Forte, Stewart) and WRs (Calvin, Percy, Holmes) along with Drew Brees.

I declined the takeover as I just didn't have the time or interest, but never heard back from him. I hope things turned out OK for his family.

Jim, we got Larry signed up to Preds Boards, and he is ready to roll.

I tried Brett's sisters phone, and it rings busy...not sure what that means...I'll try again through out the day, but if I don't get an answer by 5pm PDT, let's go ahead and assume Brett is out.

Larry would prefer to take over Brett's team in Frenzy....so I can hook him up in both SAC'd and Frenzy if you don't mind...just let me know...if we hear from Brett, then I'll hook him up with Amish's team...

OK..not sure if I'll remember to call tomorrow...grandson and 2 granddaugters will be over all weekend to dye eggs and just generally have fun.... Papa be busy!

I don't mind waiting another day for sure...Brett is a charter member in SAC'd and I believe in Frenzy also...but I have already sent multiple emails over the past few weeks, so we have done pretty much everything at our disposal to contact him....

Now to find a replacement for the AMISH team... any other 'nibbles' for prospective owners? I'd much rather include someone who's connected to someone already in the league... if possible.

What the hell, I'll step up for you guys in the Frenzy. I kinda feel the need for the mental diversion that FF is. I miss hanging with my Frenzy iFriends.

I can't commit to anything more than running a team however. Hope that is OK.

What's the situation with Joel's team? And what rule's have changed since I last played a few years ago?

Edited to add: Umm, maybe not, after spending 40 minutes looking over the league for the last 2 years, and not being able to even find a remotely current roster app, much less a current website, or set of rules... I'm not so sure I want to get back involved. The Frenzy looks like a mess. Does anyone care about the league anymore?

It looks like 2009 was a complete wasteland. Doesn't anyone contribute to keeping the league updated? I can't believe Brian and I were the only ones that could keep the Frenzy up to snuff.

If existing owners are going to step up and be involved and bring the Frenzy remotely close to what it used to be (both in terms of owner activity, and in accuracy to the apps and the website) I'll step up as the 12th owner, if it's going to be a repeat of 2009 I'll pass.
