I am going to push the deadline back a week to give Pat time to finish up with cleaning up the new version of the boards.

OK guys, it looks like Frenzy is going to have to push back one more week while trying to find an owner to take over the one vacant team (if anyone here wants it, speak up)

Also, it looks like Needles, Geeks, Mutts and Valencia are still to check in and put up their RFA's. So I guess we can go one more week. Or at least through the weekend.

So RFA's are due by Sunday 11:59pm, and RFA bidding will start at Midnight on Monday, regardless.

I have sent out emails to all, and texted Sean and Hans, so they have had fair warning. If anyone can contact Brettt or Jake, please do so ASAP.

What happens if folks don't show or declare? Will they and potential replacement owners just lose out on the RFA options?

Well, hopefully it won't come to that....it could end up being a mess like last years rookie declarations....I guess we'll see where we are at later this week....

I think we should hold off of RFA until we fill out the owners. It would suck to have new owners come in and miss out on such an important part of the off-season.

We still got a ways to go until a regular season game is played. I don't see an issue with postponing RFA until we get a full league.

Agreed. This league is hard enough to get up to speed in without losing out on your RFA's (like I did last year) right off the bat.

Sorry, I was checking in periodically for a while. I let the dead line sneak up on me. I am in and ready. If we put off RFA for too long we will run into time constraints. RFA bidding can run on for a while, so the sooner the better. Sorry again about my lag time.

That would be the notorius Needles...I emailed him, texted him, gave him links to boards and MFL since he lost em, he swore he would get on and update, but apparently that did not happen...looking at his team, not sure other than Ocho Cinco he has any RFA quality players...so at this point, I am just going to go with what was submitted, and he gets none. Not willing to extend deadline any further...

So RFA bidding is officially open...give me some time to organize names in one list. Everyone please read the rules on bidding....

Also, I need to update 2009 SAC'd MFL site, which may take me a while. So please be patient, and keep track of you own team, who you have and what your cap is, because ultimatley you are all responsible for your own team....I just dish out the penalties ;-)

Should we just look to replace him? He's never been the most active owner and missing out on RFAs is a big thing. How about we hold off on RFA until we can find someone to replace him?

Well, I thought about that, but it's getting harder to find an owner, and quite frankly, I think I am the only one who has gotten replacements in past 2 years, and have no time to pursue another one at this time.

I really hate to push this off any further, since I think the rest of the timeline will be impacted too much if we delay any longer...but will go with what the majority think...I'll give him a call tonight and thrash him severly...
