The Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects started the season 3-1 for the 3rd time in team history (2001 and 2004 previously). Matt Prater's 18 points was the 2nd highest K score in team history, behind only Phil Dawson's 18.3 points in week 11 last season. The Insects won their 49th career game, moving ahead of the Urza's Ragers moving into 4th place all time in Frenzy history by themselves.

The Urza's Ragers have started the season 1-3 for the first time since 2001.

The Philadelphia Freedom have started the season 3-1 for the second time in team history (2006). Lee Evans passed Reggie Wayne to become the Freedom's 3rd all time leading receiver, with 274.65 points in 30 games for a 9.2 average in 2005-08.

The Royal Hawaiian Opihi have started thes season 3-1 for the 4th time in team history, and for the 2nd year in a row. Jason Witten's 18.5 points was the 7th highest TE score in team history. Clinton Portis passed Tiki Barber to become the 4th leading rusher in Frenzy history. Portis has 1450.9 points in 65 games for a 22.3 average. Barber had 1433.85 points in 68 games for a 21.1 average in 2001-06.

Rob Bironas' 14.1 points tied the 7th highest K score in Soap Box Derby Car history.

The Liquid Swords have started the season 0-4 for the first time ever. They also extended their personal worst losing streak to 5 games, dating back to last season.

The Valencia Attack are 3-1 for the second straight season. Their 135.45 points was the 6th highest score in team history. Adrian Peterson's 27.6 points was the 6th highest RB score in team history. Tony Gonzalez' 12.2 points was the 4th highest TE score in team history. Buffalo's 14 points was the 2nd highest D score in team history. The Attack won their 10th career game, moving into a tie with the Rabid Garbage Dogs for 13th place all time.

Lavaranues Coles of the Valley Avengers passed Joe Horn to become the 7th leading receiver in Frenzy history. Coles has 905.1 points in 81 games for a 11.2 average. Horn had 883.4 points in 71 games for a 12.4 average in 2001-06.

The St. Paul Popes are 1-3 for the second straight season. Their 98 points was the 7th lowest score in team history. Chris Johnson's 25.25 points was the 3rd highest RB score in team history. Jamal Lewis' 22.65 points was the 7th highest RB score in team history. Robert Meachum's 16.9 points was the 8th highest WR score in team history. Tampa Bays' 20 points tied the 3rd highest D score in team history.

Josh Scobee's 15.3 points tied the 8th highest K score in Nittany Dodger history. The Dodger won their 45th career game, moving into a tie with the Brain Dead Squirrel Chasers for 6th place all time. TJ Houshmandzadeh passed Reggie Wayne to become the Dodgers 2nd all time leading receiver, with 320.15 points in 21 games for a 15.3 average in 2006-08.

The Amish Rake Fighters are 2-2 for the first time ever, after starting 0-4 in their first two seasons. Their 141.15 points was the 2nd highest score in team history, behind only their 148.2 points in week 7 of the 2006 season. Drew Brees' 33.35 points was the 5th highest QB score in team history. Steven Jackson's 33.3 points was the 2nd highest RB score in team history, behind only Kevin Jones' 37.1 points in week 3 last season. Kevin Walter's 23.6 points was the 6th highest WR score in team history. Kris Brown's 10.7 points tied the 3rd highest K score in team history.
