Frenzy Rules Chairman announces development of a cap/contract IDP spinoff league

Frenzy IDP is on the drawing Board

The chairman of the Feeding Frenzy's Rules committee (Mike SantaLucia) announced today that plans were in the developmental stage for a new league which will incorporate IDP's (Individual Defensive Players). Rumors have it, the base rules will closely mimic the Frenzy rule-set, with perhaps a few extras (i.e. potential contract entensions and franchise tags). The biggest change will be the addition of several starters to the lineups, specifically Defensive Linemen, Linebackers, and Defensive Backs and the elimination of Defensive Teams as a whole unit!

SantaLucia wouldn't elaborate as to what stage of development the new league was in, his only comment was "We're developing what we hope will be a compliment to all that is great about the Frenzy. We had disucssions within the Frenzy about adding this component, but in the end don't want to tinker too much with a good thing, so instead we're going to look into the development of a new league that will seek to incorporate the best of what the Frenzy is all about, while also considering some of the Chameleon Dynasty League's unique features."

A slate of ownership has not been named, though potential owners from both the Frenzy and the CDL are encouraged to express an interest in the following thread ASAP.
