Good stuff. This looks to be perfect in terms of how this should work. Brian (I think this was your brainchild), this is an excellent idea and another reason why I say that this is the best FF league going.

BTW, looks like a fair number of players finished just out of the money.

Thanks Matt. Mike deserve a bunch of credit as well, as we both were playing with the numbers to work this whole thing out.

I am very pleased with the way this worked out. I did want to tinker with some of the numbers, but had my tinkering been done, only one more player (Lelie) would have gotten a bonus, so I think this is working really well. I also like the distribution among the positions (4 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR, 3 TE getting bonuses).

I haven't cranked the numbers in the draft app yet, but they look about right. Nice job Brian... and thanks for the kudos Matt!

Great work! That ONE ROOKIE would be the Opihi WR phenom (who sat on the bench all year - sigh! lol), Michael Clayton. We look forward to many more years of productivity from Michael. Congrats, Mike! We're pleased to give you the salary bonus!

In the interest at looking at percentages here is how these bonuses impacted salaries. Witten almost doubled his salary and MCGahee got a nice boost as well. This seems to be working out really well.

Willis McGahee-65.7%
Clinton Portis-35.8%

Carson Palmer-39.3%
Byron Leftwich-34.6%
David Carr-33.0%
Joey Harrington-27.4%

Nate Burleson-55.5%
Michael Clayton-51.7%
Andre Johnson-39.3%

Jason Witten-90.0%
Daniel Graham-51.2%
Jeremy Shockey-22.6%

yup, I think we pretty much nailed a quality rookie forumula last year!

What sucks is this off season I don't sense too many fun yet heated debates on the horizon!

Great job guys! Looks like Whitten is still a good value. Whoot! Too bad I traded him to the Ragers.
