Default Sad end to a great streak

Well, the Predators have finally done it. After trying and failing for years, the might Predators have finally beaten my Nittany Dodgers. Good game Mike, my team just played average this week, and as usually, that wasn't enough to beat the Preds. The streak is over. You've finally beat me. And another nail get pounded into my 2004 coffin (I don't think it's the last nail yet, but there aren't many to go before it's finished).

I was gonna post last night about FINALLY getting a win against every team in the league.. but decided not to gloat (hard to believe from me aint it ;)). It took me 4 years to beat your franchise, but alas, the losing streak is over!

Good game Brian, I was very worried this week with 3 key starters on bye, but my remaining studs pulled through for me, and Pittman earned his salary in 1 game with 28 pts

I predicted it was going to come down to one of us was going to get a player to go off. As it was, it came down to me starting the wrong QB, and Javon Walker blowing up, and me not having a receiver to counter that.

Ah well, that 2005 draft pick just keeps getting better and better.

Walker has been an absolute stud for me... the funny thing is, I tried shopping him all off-season and nobody was willing to give anything up for him, not even a 2nd round pick.

I only wish I had tied him to a 5 year deal originally, instead of 3... oh well, he'll make a nice RFA prospect for me in the off-season and should net a 1st or 2nd round comp.

And of course I was one who turned him down. I had Ferguson, and of course he was going to be the new #1.

I turned him down too. Thankfully, I however was able to get Marcell Shipp. Shipp sound so much like another word that seems to fit here...

, sorry man... I truly wasn't trying to screw you in that deal.

If it makes you feel any better... Tatum Bell may be a complete bust when all is said and done.
