The Pirates went into this draft with the thought to land a starting RB for the franchise's future. With Walker falling to 1.03, we feel we cannot pass on him, so we will be taking 2 potentially every down backs. The Zombie Pirates welcome both of these RBs and look forward to fielding them as the Pirate’s RB tandem starting in 2023.

Walker was ecstatic when he heard the news that the Pirates were drafting him…..
