The Predators have alerted media to a press conference Thursday evening. Franchise WR Antonio Brown is expected to be in attendance and have a seat on the podium with GM and Coach Mike SantaLucia. All signs point to his return to the team for a 6th season.

Preds HQ is a buzz this morning. Team sources tell us that the team has agreed to match Antonio Brown's tender from the Roosters making him the highest paid player in the Frenzy. Further whispers have made reference to the team extending their franchise WR on on a multi-year deal.

Despite what we've heard thus far, Antonio Brown is apparently late arriving to One Preds Drive this morning to sign the extension. Has a snag come up?

Reports are swirling that Antonio Brown was spotted at the Buffalo airport late this morning, not a team HQ where he's supposed to be signing a multi-year deal with the club. Antonio's whereabouts are currently unknown amid speculation that a snag has come up in his deal.

We have confirmed that Antonio Brown was indeed at the Buffalo Airport this morning. We have also learned that he left the area on a private charter at around 9:30 AM.

The destination of the flight is unknown at this time. Our reporters are working hard to find out the planes call sign to see if a destination has been charted.

We have just learned that the charter flight Antonio Brown departed WNY on this morning returned to the Buffalo airport at 12:34pm. Antonio was not on the return flight according to local officals. His current whereabouts remain unknown.

A team representative offered no comment on this developing story.

We have now learned that the charter flight Antonio Brown was believed to be on this morning landed in Philadelphia at 10:13 AM. The flight left Philadelphia at 11:42 AM, returning to Buffalo at 12:30 PM.

It is now believed the purpose of the flight was to pickup Shady McCoy who the team has reportedly signed to a RFA tender.

Despite earlier reports, we can no longer confirm if Antonio Brown was on the earlier flight. His whereabouts remain unknown. Team officials have confirmed he is NOT in the building, but offered no comment as to where he may be.

The 8pm press conference is still on at this time according to team officials. Will Antonio be there?

Just 4 hours from this evening's press conference to presumably announce a multiyear contract with franchise WR Antonio Brown, there have still been no sightings of Antonio Brown on the Preds campus.

The team has confirmed that Shady McCoy is present and accounted for, but offered a stiff no comment regarding the whereabouts of Brown.

AB's Mercedes G-Class SUV has not been spotted either at his home or in the parking lots of the Preds stadium. A Ohio caller reportedly spotted Brown's Mercedes on Interstate 77 near Akron, heading south at around 11 this morning, though the source has not yet been verified.

We're hearing whispers that Antonio Brown was indeed on the charter flight to Philadelphia this morning to pickup his good friend Shady McCoy and bring him back to Preds HQ. We are also hearing AB has actually been in the stadium with Shady and senior team representatives the entire afternoon. We are working on confirming this with our sources.

Great news Preds fans... we have a confirmed Antonio Brown sighting!

We just spotted Antonio and Shady getting out of a team vehicle with GM/Coach Mike SantaLucia and heading into the famous Big Tree Inn, just outside the stadium!

We reached out to the owners of the Big Tree Inn for comment and they could only confirm that they are closed this evening to the public for a private Predators team function.

A respected source that is currently inside the Big Tree Inn with the team has also sent us an exclusive pic of AB, Shady and GM/Coach Mike sharing wings and beers! Quite the celebration appears to be going on. There are drinks, wings, smiles and laughter, all around.

The Preds have also confirmed that the Press Conference remains on for this evening at 8 PM and that BOTH Antonio and Shady will share the podium with GM/Head Coach Mike SantaLucia. We're hearing RFA TE Jordan Reed may be at the podium as well.

A long stressful day appears to be reaching a very happy conclusion. Wow!
