Question on Smelter HELP!!!
A few weeks back I had asked Burt and Bobby about PS and TS players and I was told I should just keep them on my roster since it didn't hurt anything. Well... I see that they get moved up to active roster if I don't... I would have cut him if I though he would be promoted to active. Anyway, I'm not really whining (much) but I did ask and maybe I was misinformed or heard it wrong, but I'd like to see if I can still cut him without a penalty. If not, I understand the "rules" but I did ask... so HELP!!!!
ps This is my 1st off season and am still learning ![]() Thanks, Roosters

PS players can stay on the PS for all 5 years of their contract, they don't get moved up.
TS players entering the 4th year of their contract are automatically moved to active roster May 1st if they haven't been cut before then, as they're only TS eligible the first 3 years of their contract.

From the looks of that last reply...it would appear you will have to appeal to the Commish (Opihi) for the relief you are seeking...I vote to let you cut them without penalty, but I am not in the ring of leadership...one already gave his stock answer so go to the guy who can make the call...

The same question was raised a few weeks ago on the boards... I've found it helpful to read every post that's made, even if I don't think it pertains to my team. Sometimes things get brought up that impact the entire league. Maybe you saw this... maybe you massed it.
We're all about having great owners in the Frenzy. And I know there's a TON of stuff to get under your belt in this league. Feel free to ask ANY question on these boards as you get the hang of this league. You're also welcome to shoot me a PM if you'd rather not post something for everyone to see. As for this particular case... since this is your first off season, I'll allow you to make the cut without penalty. Now you know, right!? ;) |

Yeah, we never talked years... just those players in general and I took it as I didn't need to worry about them. It's all good, I know you would never purposly mislead me to advance your teams to the promise Land ;) ;) (That was 2 winks lol)
