In Season ends and Post Season begins

I need some help from Rules committee. Are we still in In Season FA period through Tuesday 12am EST? So anyone can still put players up for bid today through midnight, correct?

Yes. Post season FA doesn't begin until start of week 14 Wich is 12AM ET.

Since bids posted today won't take effect until Tues at 12AM EST, non playoff team rosters are frozen at this time, correct?

That's the question, the way its worded it doesn't say the player has to sell by Tuesday but rather that In season FA ends tonight. So that's the question can a non play off team put a guy out there today.

I would think no because putting a player out there today is the same as putting him out there tomorrow. The rules say "If a bid is made on any player between 12:00am Sunday and 11:59pm Monday the bid will be treated as if it were made on Tuesday at 12:00am".

Here is another part of the rules: "Rosters are frozen at the beginning of the week 14 games for non-playoff teams, and the minute a team is eliminated from the playoffs or wins the SAC'D Bowl, whichever comes first. Any players acquired by playoff teams between weeks 14 and 16 may only be assigned 1 year contracts and CANNOT be declared as RFA's or Franchise Players the following season."

I have always thought game week started on Tues morning at 12:00AM EST and that rosters for non playoff teams were frozen at the start of week 14.

I could be wrong but thats always been my understanding.

yah...this is the reason for putting this out here...I guess I have never really thought about the precise timing...most teams are done bidding when games during last week have started...

Personally, I would have to agree with Bobby on this one.

OK....so no bidding from non playoff teams will count for bids started after the clock paused for weekend
