I know your still working out the rules, so I'll give you some leeway here.

Dropping Adam Vinatieri would place you below the 5 player minimun required on the active squad among TE/K/D.

So how about another cut to get under the cap because doing the one you first rerquested would cost you a 500cb penalty and further cuts lol.

and here is the specific section pertaining to the rule above from section 6A:

Each team must carry a minimum of 13 players on its Active Roster at all times during the season. Of this 13, there must be a minimum of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 1 K, and 1 D. In addition, each team must carry at least five players among tight ends, kickers, and D/ST units. Any roster composition that satisfies all of the preceding requirements is acceptable.

and here is the penalty for failing to be at the 5 man requirement from section 7F

Below Minimum Roster Size:

A penalty of 500cb's will be assessed for each player a team is below the minimum roster limit if a team falls below 13 players at any time during the In-Season Free Agency period (August 16 to the start of the 1st Week 17 games). If a team is below the minimum roster limit, they will have 24 hours to get back to the limit before the penalty is assessed. This penalty will also apply for teams having fewer than 5 players among TE/K/D.

You've been in the league over a year Jim while Nate's only been in it a couple days and inherited a team already violating the cap.

The last thing I'd want to do is run a new owner off while he's still getting a grasp on the rules.

Yes, players on the DS do not count towards the 5 man TE/K/D roster minimum. The players must be on the ACTIVE roster.

Boerigter is a good cut... he sucks, or maybe the real fact is KC just refuses to realize he should be their #1 and therfore don't throw to him.
