This should default to 1 year as Wheaton sold at 12:01am on 11/4, thus 24hour period for years would require they be declared by 12:01am 11/5. Killer Bees are 7+ hours late on this one.

Good point, Mike.
Here's one of those instances, however, that I'm going to cut the new guy some slack.
This is his first occasion of acquiring a player whose bid was started PRIOR to the new week at 12:01am Tuesday (so Newguymike, for any claims made over the weekend, the 24-hour clock starts at 12:01am).
Take this as your one and only warning.
From here on in, the time stamps will be firm.

I am now aware...I saw the post asking how many years and I submitted within 24 hrs of that and thought I was good. No worries. You can make it 1 yr if needed

Nope. It's good. The 24-hour window to declare begins immediately after the 24-bidding window closes. It's up to individual owners to be responsible of replying within that time frame... even if the player isn't marked as "SOLD". (Sometimes we forget to post that.)
