Unhappy Sigh, is there anything more frustrating than a goosegg in your starting lineup?

After averaging 10+ targets a week for 3 straight weeks and putting up really nice, consistent stats, TE Dennis Pitta puts up a gooseegg for me this week in a key rematch and was only targeted twice. Ugh. Not the start I wanted for a week where I'm already missing 4 WR's (3 on bye, 1 to injury).

Oh well, it is what it is... going to have to find a way to outscore the Mosquitoes with just 8 players instead of 9. We can still do this... maybe.

Yeah that sucks. Just means someone else needs to step up and make up for the let down...still good chances. Obviously, I can deal with a 0 from Pitta. It looks pretty good on my side.

Despite 2 starting WR's being on bye (Brown & Wallace), a 3rd backup WR on bye (Sanders), a former starting WR coming back gimpy from a foot injury and performing poorly (Garcon), not to mention Dennis Pitta's goosegg on Thursday night, and my terribly poor coaching move to bench Brady in favor of Schaub... the Predators somehow escaped week 4 with a HUGE divisional win against an undefeated 3-0 Minnesota squad and pulled out of an early 0-2 whole to an even 2-2.

The Charles/Johnson trade weighed heavily in the Mosquitoes favor this week but wasn't enough to carry the pesty bugs to a victory. Jamaal Charles scored 27.25 points while Stevie Johnson only pulled in 3.30 points for the Preds. In the end, we somehow escaped both poor coaching and a former player having a big game against us, and still came out top to even the season series as 1-1. Guess the fantasy Gods were on the Preds side this week.

Scott, I hope we get a chance to meet a 3rd time this season for a tie-breaker in our series!

An interesting side note, 4 weeks into the season and the Preds have been eerily consistent with weekly scores within a slim 2.5 point range with a low of 121.8 and a high of 124.30 (121.8, 124.3, 122.25, 123.75). There's certainly a lot of room for improvement, but the consistent scores are becoming an interesting trend.

Good matchup Mike. I was holding hope for McFadden to bust a decent run until the late VJax TD then things got out of reach. My guys must have been taking you a bit too lightly as outside of Ryan and Charles, no one showed up this week. Without our deal, this would have been an embarrassment. Rudolph 1.8 isn't really that different than the goose-egg from Pitta so TE production was about a wash on both ends.

TWO RETURN TDS FOR THE VIKINGS D ON THE BENCH....AHHHH!!!

Oh well, time to turn to the non-division schedule and hope I can stay in position for some meaningful division games in the end.

I consider myself VERY lucky to have escaped week 4 with a win. It wasn't quite gifted to me the way the Seahawks were gifted a win over the Pack, but it came pretty close as the fantasy gods had to have been in my favor this week for your solid team to have such a down week. It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it.

Next up are the big Bad Dogs and the highest scoring offense in the league thus far, should be another big challenge.

The big Bad Dogs are bordering on becoming Little Puppies unless we can get a couple of RBs healthy and get a break from the Buffalo coaching staff. I was fortunate to get an unexpected win over the Mighty Chunks with all 3 of my RBs banged up and drawing tough match ups.

No Megatron next week so my guys have to step up big time.
