Team Names

We have the divisions nailed down, now how about some individual team names?

Do we want a certain format (ie. city/nickname), or is anything game?

What about a theme? No theme, IDP theme, whatever?

Do we want to do what we do in CDL, where the Toilet Bowl winner gets to name the Toilet Bowl loser?

I personally think that people can name their own teams with only limits being common sense and nothing inappropriate.

Themes would be fun, but I don't want to think that much (I really try to avoid it). Most people do choose location then associated name, etc.

For history sake, I'd prefer we don't change team names each year like we do the CDL.

Based on CDL themes and names, most of us aren't clever enough to come up with a new team name each year, especially when it deal with English language constraints ;) Although it does add a little added drama each year, allowing the Champion to name a theme for the following year and each team renaming themselves following that theme....

I'm not recommending everyone's name changes...just the loser...um, I mean person who is the winner of the 12th place in the league!

Location with name seems cool, as we all seem to be different locations, generally. I'm not one for changing a name each year. Sticking with one gives a history, especially in a dynasty league.

Seems like an non-issue. Everyone name their own team and keep it that way. OK with me.

I think I misvoted here. By theme to we mean we all follow the same naming convention or a theme like old TV shows. I would prefer everyone picks their own name but that it be city/location and team name. If you can change my vote (not that it matters since name your own seems to have won in a landslide here).

You would still be naming your own team, you'd just have to follow a theme picked by someone, say the League Champ. Because Sally won the CDL, we all have to now rename our teams using the theme "bisyllabic adverbs/adjectives".

As a Pit mix owner I think you know where I stand, and I know you're on the opposite side of the fence (would any of us expect anything less with us lol)!
