Seems more logical to me than just sticking to multiples of 10.

Only for the simple reason that doing what you propose involves restructuring every position, instead of just bringing two of the four in line with the other two. I have no problem doing that, but my "starter" reference was more for comparative purposes. It just seemed silly to give a bonus for a benchriding QB when a starting receiver went without. Again though, I have no problem reworking the whole thing. Until the rookie draft talk heats up, I'm looking for something to tinker with.
