Well, to me it makes logical sense that there would be no bidding until the player clears waivers. The more bids that go on just let the higher waiver claim positions know what the player could potentially go for. That doesn't make sense to me.

I do believe it was stated when we voted that the waiver claim procedure would take effect on 4/1, when we discussed if soft cap cuts would be elligible for waivers (we decided they wouldn't be, but as soon as the new year kicked in it would start).
