Florida Times-Union reports Jags
DE Brandon Green, who missed most of his rookie season with a fractured kneecap, could end up making his first NFL start Thursday because of a leg bruise that continues to limit left
DE Paul Spicer.
HC Jack Del Rio said Spicer, who missed the preseason opener with a foot injury, would be a gametime decision against the Patriots. The Jaguars' injury situation improved this week with the return of
CB Juran Bolden from a quadriceps injury.
OG Mike Compton (thumb surgery) also was back, and rookie
RB Rich Alexis joined
FB Marc Edwards and
RB LaBrandon Toefield in returning.
RB Fred Taylor,
RB Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala and
TE George Wrighster will miss Thursday's game with foot injuries.
